StockShiba's
B-Corp Pursuit
We're excited to share StockShiba's B-Corp Pursuit & social responsibility journey.
We list the steps we've taken, the hurdles we've come across, & headway we've made. This is an overview for anyone learning about B-Corps & StockShiba Social Responsibility.
About
B-Corp
A B Corp is a for-profit company certified by the non-profit B Lab, indicating adherence to rigorous standards for social and environmental responsibility.
This certification signifies a commitment to transparency, ethical practices, and considering the impact on employees, customers, and the planet, beyond just financial returns for shareholders.
We believe that achieving B-Corp status will help us create more meaningful change & hold ourselves accountable to the high standards we set.
This certification aligns seamlessly with our mission to redefine the stock media industry, emphasizing inclusive advertising, and setting the benchmark for responsible content creation. It symbolizes our promise to actively contribute to positive change in the world through our business endeavors.
How It
Works
Assessment & Preparation
We thoroughly assess our current social & environmental impact using the B Impact Assessment tool provided by B Lab.
Then identify areas where improvements can be made to align with B Corp standards.
Implement Changes and Policies
Next we implement changes in those key areas. This involves workplace practices, adopting environmentally sustainable initiatives, & demonstrating a commitment to community engagement.
We also ensure that our governance emphasizes transparency and accountability.
B Corp Certification Application
Once the changes are implemented & demonstrated, we submit the B Corp certification application.
B Lab will review our submission, and grants B Corp certification to those who've met the criteria.
